Blu-ray advisor fails on VAIO S

Hello,

When I run WinDVD and Cyberlink Blu-ray Advisor on my VAIO SE (15.5") they fail saying that the harware/software can not play Blu-ray. The CPU is a 2640M and GPU HD 6630M should it not be capable of playing Blu-rays?

Thanks in advance!

I have a external Blu-ray player, I found the problem. The laptop will not play Blu-ray when switched to "SPEED" mode but works when switching over to "STAMINA". I think this i strange considering that the more powerfull HD Radeon should be used in "SPEED" mode and the Intel HD 3000 card in "STAMINA".

Must be a graphics driver issue

Exactly which VPCSE model do you have?  You will find the model on the screen surround.

Not all models have a Blu-Ray disc drive and BD Player software.
