Hi, I've been experiencing some problems with my laptop.
My HD started having SMART errors so I decided to replace it. I tried with a hard drive I had spare, formatted it and installed Linux Mint fresh on it. It worked fine for a couple days, until it diet completely. The HD works in a different computer just fine, but the vaio device does not boot at all. It turns on, but gets stuck. Even the BIOS does not load.
Is there a way of flashing the BIOS through the motherboard? Or in case I can load windows through another hard drive and possibly flash it.
