Burning CDs on VGN-SZ1M/B

Hi all. It's not possible anymore to burn CD's with my notebook. I have no clue why since I have burnt several of the same CD's before.

My VAIO: VGN-SZ1M/B
The CDs: Samsung digitall 52x, recordable multi speed

Some ideas?

Are there any yellow warnings or errors against your drive in Device Manager?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. The only warning appearing says that there is no CD in the drive.
Meanwhile I managed to burn a CD with another software. Still, I think it's strange that it's not working with the windows-own burning software - suddenly.

I had a similar problem a little while ago.

Try running services.msc and then check the status of the Imapi CD-Burning COM Service.

Its status should be 'started.'
