buzz or hiss

Just after having upgrade my VGN-A517B to Vista a hiss or buzz comes from the bottom side NOT from the speakers; This happens only when the lap is unplugged and stops immediately if plugged.
Any ideas?

Hi drscatiggio,

As your model is not yet fully supported by Sony for Vista I can only assume that this is a power management/driver problem. I doubt that the VGN A series will ever be fully supported for Vista
