Car power adaptor

Hi, I'm thinking of using my laptop (Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21M)on the move while my wife drives the car. Obviously the battery life is fairly limited... so I wondered if Sony makes an adaptor so that the laptop can be powered using a 12 volt outlet in the car dashboard (it would also be useful for battery charging when the computer is not being used).

Does anyone have any experience of such devices... if so, are they good/bad/indifferent?

you are running a 19 volt lappie and this FS model car charger can select that voltage

Thanks Tony. A few days ago, I looked at the link that you supplied and it took me to a site that didn't have much info about the vendor/supplier eg address etc... I've just used the link again and it seems to take me to a totally different website.

Do you know if there is a SOny made or Sony approved accessory for this purpose? I've heard some horror stories about third-party accessories. Thanks.
