I´ve got a VGN-A617B and have one question.

Is it possible to change the CPU (processor ) from 1.73 GHz to a better processor ??

Hi Florian777,

From what I know of your model (and this is limited) this, in theory, should be possible. The A series use a range of processors, from 1.4 to 2 GHz. I question whether you will gain any major advantage by upgrading from 1.73 to 2 GHz but if you are intent on this I suggest that you have a word with Nexttronics.
