Changing language Windows Media Center and soft?

Hi,

about a month ago I bought a second hand Vaio FE21H from Italy. Now I am looking if it is possible to change the Italian version of windows and the pre-installed Sony software into the Dutch edition. I already downloaded the Drivers and Install files from the update site, and now I gotr some kind of mix. Should I find someone to supply me with home-created recovery disks, or is that not going to work either?

Hi Rob,

Your PC BIOS has been flashed language specific so Dutch home created Discs will not work either.

Is this also applying to the Sony soft (stagemaster e.o.). Because these are realy hard to understand in Italian.

Hi Rob,

It should only apply to drivers and utilities. VAIO Software should be installable in all languages.

And is there a place where I can download or find the Vaio software? And how can I overwrite the default installation? The utils map seems not to include the Vaio software, and the updates seem to keep the original language-settings. Any way to work around this?
