Cleaning X-black screen on VAIO A Series

Whats the best way to go about this? Is it safe to use the 'wet and dry' screen wipes that you get?

Yes they are safe, I use the Klear wipes.

Thanks, its accumulated a bit of dust and muck from , ironicallly, trying to clean it before.
