Copying to disc on xp 2003

Could anyone help with my problem?I am using my grandaughters PCG Sony system xp but I can not copy photos/documents to cd, any help much appreciated. Carl

Hi Carl,

You cannot normally copy items one at a time to a CD unless you have special Packet Writing Software.  However, you can select everything you want copied and burn it in one session only.

You can do this using XP itself or using burning software like Roxio or Nero.  What model is the Vaio?  This will let us see what software is installed that will do the task.

That's the chassis type not the model - does it say something like VGN-FS315E on the screen surround?

If it is a FS315 it will have Roxio Digital Media SE 2.3 installed which will burn CD and DVD.  Have a look in Start -> All Programs.
