Hey guys,
I have a useful link for you all especially you gamers. A this website www.laptopvideo2go.com they take all the latest driver releases from NVIDIA and modify them to work with all mobile cards. So you no longer have to put up with Sony's appalling driver support.
So try them out now to see if they can improve your framerates, graphical bugs in games.
Also enjoy the unlocked Nvidia features you never had before with sony's drivers (Nview, clock settings etc)
Note: makesure you read the instructions on how to install the drivers carefully and search the forums to find the driver series suitable for your graphics card. Then its just a case of finding the best driver for you set up.
Good luck and Enjoi
Happy Gaming
Ali
I'd also recommend www.omegadrivers.net for those of you with ATI-based graphics cards in your VAIOs.
They also allow for soft-modding of desktop ATI graphics cards such as upgrading a Radeon 9800SE to an 9800 Pro by means of enabling the remaining four pixel pipelines.
I wouldn't bother with the nVidia drivers on there at the mo, hoever, as these haven't been updated for nearly a year - nVidia custom driver development has been suspended for some reason.
Worth a look!
Keep an eye on tempretures when you do that though
