data sim for z series

with my mobile phone i am at vodafone, but they can not supply a data only sim for my z series.

any suggestions as to best provider for data sim ?

What country are you in?  Providers vary from country to country.

Vodaphone provide data sims in most countries.  You may have to take the sim out of a dongle and then put it in your Vaio.  Perhaps they just can't offer a 3G service where you live.

I am in the UK, I never thought about breaking into a USB dongle, do the contain the same sim cards?

Yes, I have a T-Mobile £15 per month dongle.

I use the sim in my netbook and when necessary I put the sim back in the dongle to use in my laptop.  It is a simple operation.
