Display Problem

Hi

I have just upgraded my Sony Vaio vgc v2s to windows 7,  from XP.The problem is my monitor now displays incorrectly it doesn't use the whole of the 20 or so inch screen it appears more like a 15 inch screen. I believe this might be a driver problem however thus far I have not been able to locate a driver for the video card or display. any help would be be very much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Tonyclm

Hi Tonyclm,

Sadly Sony do not provide an installable driver for the Go 7400 Graphics for Windows 7.

Either try Windows Update to search for a driver

Or (at your own risk) try this one: -

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/win7x32/186.10/disclaimer

Click at the bottom of the page to download the driver.

If that fails, read the Quickstart Guide from LaptopVideo2Go on how to modify an installer .INF file to allow installation on your system: -

I wonder if you resolved your problem. I had a similar problem recently. No upgrade, but a corrupted driver. Now I cannot display on the full screen. I have reinstalled the driver, but... Any ideas? Please
