Hi xspeedstarx,

welcome to Club VAIO Questions and Answers..:smileyhappy:

I can see no reference to speakers being supplied in all the right ups and sepcification pages that I have checked..

So I guess you'll have to find additional money if you want to purchase a set of speakers..:smileysad:

Thanks thalamus for answering. Had guessed that was the case.

I have the dav-dz280 surround at the moment and reckon that the speakers that came with it should work ok with the av unit, although if anyone reckons that they won`t then please let me know.

Sorry guys,  should have updated this a couple of weeks ago.  No the system doesn`t come with speakers and you`ll need to make sure you have an ACTIVE subwoofer. Its s-air ready but you`ll need to buy the s-air units separatly. You don`t need banana plugs for the speaker connections but they really help. oh  and the sound is unreal:smileygrin:

Thanks for the confirmation that speakers have to bought separately to the STR-DH810 AV receiver..:smileyhappy:
