DVD ROM (Help) I have an intermittent problem, when I put a CD-ROM into the DVD-ROM drive sometimes it works other times it will freeze the whole system.
I can be accessing a CD one minute then got to select something else on it and bang it freezes.
If I place the CD in the drive and turn on the PC it Freezes at the windows log in page.
The DVD-ROM is the LG HL-DT-ST GDR8162B that is supplied with the unit but I have had the same problem on the DVD Writer drive DW-U12A as well.
This has only occurred since I updated the Bios and drivers of my RZ424 from the SONY Site.
