Expansion slot?

As I was upgrading the memory on my PCG-GRT715E, I noticed another removable panel. Inside is what looks like some sort of expansion slot which is similar to the memory slots, only it's a bit smaller. It's probably a dumb question, but this is my first laptop and don't know what this is. Could someone please enlighten me? Thanks so much.

I think that this compartment is for the Wireless Lan adaptor that is standard with other models in this series.

Thanks, Rich. Do you know if you can buy those wireless lan adaptors anywhere? I checked NewEgg, but they only seem to have the PC cards. Is this something you think that I'll have to get through Sony directly? Thanks again.

Hehe I know what your getting at there Ash, but he is talking about the expansion flap on the underside of the computer.:smileygrin:
