External monitor resolution

If I buy a 1920 X 1200 resolution external monitor for my SZ1XP/C will it work?

As no-one seems to know the answer, I thought I would welcome you to the Club anyway!!

I doubt if your nVidia GeForce Go 7400 supports this resolution - have a look in Display Properties>Settings>Advanced.

Perhaps the monitor manufacturer will be able to provide suitable drivers for your graphics card. I would definitely check first.

I have a Dell 2405FPW and can use the full 1900x1200 DualView multimonitor setup when in Speed mode. Havent tried it on Stamina.

Works a treat over VGA, I can't get hold of the docking station at the moment so I cannot vouch for the DVI connection.

I investigated settings as Blencogo suggested. With an external monitor connected it shows the reslutions of that monitor only. Without it shows (I presume) everything it can do. The max resolutions are:
Stamina: 1920 x 1200
Speed: 2048 x 1536
Pretty good for a feather weight machine
