I have a VGN-TX3XP/B CEK laptop , which I am having problems with when i plug in an external Dell vga monitor.
I have set-up 2 hardware profiles (docked and undocked) and i have set the graphics display to go to Monitor.
The issue I have is when I login to the laptop in undocked mode, then I shutdown the laptop. I then dock the laptop, press the on button, and login to the docked mode, but the external monitor does not kick in.
To get it ot work, i have to login to the laptop on the docking station (in docked mode) then press FN and F7 to toggle and then have both monitors working.
Is there a way to get the monitor to automatically fire up when logging into the docked mode?
Any one got any ideas please?
