Firewire/i.link port for VPCEE2SIE

Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help me please

I purchased a Vaio VPCEE2S1E about a year ago, and im trying to get video onto it from a fairly old mini dv camera.  HOwever, im under the impression i need an i.link port to import the video.

Im aware that the vaio model im using doesnt have a firewire/i.link port - however, doe anyone know whether its possible to add one to this model?

You can add Firewie/iLink connectivity via either USB or Express card slot.

Google USB to Firewire/iLink or Express card to Firewire/iLink.

So, there is a spare expresscard slot in this model?? ( i dont know what im looking for!!)  i know from the spec there is no PC Card slot....

Hi robvaio2011,

On checking the specs for your model it doesn't have an Express card slot, but it does have 4 USB ports...
