Flash installation problems on XL301

Hi- having just rebuilt my XL301 from restore disks I thought this might get over various issues (see another post re Adobe Premier 3.0!) But - I can't get flash to work on IE7. I've downloaded from Adobe the uninstall application, uninstalled, restarted the box, reinstalled, run the manual update program, restarted, but each and every time when I go to a flash site it simply says - you are not running the correct version of flash (bbc website for example) Does anyone have any ideas on how to get over this bug? It's driving me nuts! Cheers, Andy

i struggled with this over the weekend.

if you launch ie7 from programmes menu, by right clicking and "run as administrator" it will install.
if you do the same each time you go to the bbc iplayer site it will play.

i ended up switching off user account control.
