Frozen vaio pocket

My vaio pocket has frozen again. This happened after i turned it on and when i tried to play a track the track time would go up but no music would come out and the timer would just keep going up even past the track length.

This has happened to it before and i want to know if there is a permenant solution to this problem. I was going to send it to sony but it fixed itself before i sent it off.

I've also had this problem alot!!!!! Mine has started freezing all the time again.
The first time they replaced something in it and it worked fine for a while. Now I can't send it back to them becasue my warranty has run out from when I bought it, even though the part they replaced was less than a year ago, which I thought should be covered for a year because its new.
I have no idea what causes it, its really annoying though and I want to get mine fixed to.
If you're under your original warranty its worth phoning them up and telling them to try to fix it.

The part that they replaced less than a year ago may/should have some form of warranty of its own. Most repairs should come with some form of guarantee or else the repairers would simply replace the part with a bottle top and that would be that.

Get back in touch with Sony and inform them that, irrespective of the warranty being expired, the part that they replaced has clearly gone the same way as the first one. As this is obviously an on-going case, which was first reported whilst the unit was still within its warranty, I reckon you should ask them to replace the part again as it has obviously proven to be as ineffective as the first.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I've tried contacting them but apparently it doesn't matter if something gets replaced, its only the original warranty which is valid, which if you ask me is pretty damn cheeky.

On the phone they say you can get free advice by writing to them via the support portal, which I can't seem to get to work, theres no option to set up a case anywhere, or by phoning the premium number. I wanna try e-mailing them first but can't, can anybody help me to get in contact with them?????
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
