Frustrated upon on Blu-ray content?

after spider-man trilogy not working,

the 2 first BR of Pirates of Caribbean are not working on PowerDVD, but more or less ok on WinDVD.

But it take so many time to arrive to "play movie", and in some case the screen involved does not have show the relevant button.

I think I will stop to buy BR, because I AM FRUSTRATED !

Why ?

I have BR that are working. The problems comes from latest BR hits

My point of view : It's just that the movies players are not fully compatible with this new technology.

My Spiderman 3 also does not work. I have updted the drivers etc etc.
Still nothing.
To make things worse I tried playing the disc on my PS3 and still nothing....

What is going on. I am a editor for a PC Games magazine, so would be gratful for a quick answer.... Thx.

I just made the latest update of WinDVD found on Vaio Update.

And now, WinDVD does not even starts. it crashes on MFC application.

Hmmm this seems very strange.

Installing the update for windvd worked for me on my AR series,
but I also installed powerdvd and actually prefer that for blu ray playback.


Its interesting that Mitch_2007's disc won't play on the ps3 either, in his case it could suggest that the media is faulty.
PS3's can easily handle blu ray playback. (I have watched several new releases with no trouble)

Have you installed the nvidia drivers from laptop2go.com?
I had these drivers and the windvd bd and power dvd didn't work...

I install the drivers from sony and now everything is ok...
