Group of keys started typing wrong characters

Have had my Vaio laptop for about 3 years, was using last night and suddenly several keys starting typing totally incorrect characters.

The Keys are:

0
u i o p [ ]
j k l ;
n m /

So it seems to be one strip of the keyboard that is not working.


Is this a common problem ?
Is there an easy fix ?

Have you accidentally turned on the Num Lk key...:smileyconfused:

WOW!!! You were right, all working properly again :smileygrin:

I've had the laptop for three years and can't believe I've never done that before nor even knew about that particular key.
