Hard Drive Partion

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-TR1MP laptop with a 30BG hard drive. Since purchase this has been split into C & D Drive. I have moved all my files to D Drive but still find that C Drive is 99% full and affecting performance. Is there a way, without re-formatting, to blend all into one drive?

Thanks!

Yeah by using Partition Magic, but be warned, it can go wrong.

already shifted all your files from 1 drive to another and still 99% full? some small files perhaps... If you havnt already i suggested clearing the whole temporary internet files and cache, also go over any folders that appear unusually large very care fully. I once by chance spotted that one program "shareaza" (p2p app) had managed to accumulate 2.5gb in its "incomplete download" folder after i went downloading linux distros, apparently it just wouldnt clear them. Anyway best of luck.

Hey GR

I wouldn't bother with Linux on P2P, you're best trying to download from their ftps, and as they have mirrors you can get something like SmartFTP to download from more than one location.
