Hi there people, bought a new Vaio vgnfe41e and was amazed at start up to find that nearly 40 gig of memory had been allocated to user back up. Is this normal ?
New to the vaio world and wanted to get some ideas from users

Vista takes about 4GB space apparently, and apps can use a lot of space too.

Just uninstall what you don't need

Are you sure 40GB has been used for a backup or is that the space that's been used on your C Drive by the OS and applications..
