Until recently my VAIO VPCEA3S1E automatically appeared on the TV when I connected the HDMI lead. The laptop now makes the connected noise and the laptop screen goes blank but nothing appears on the TV. I have checked the HDMI lead and also connected other items to the TVs HDMI port - both are fine.
I have tried fn+F7 to no avail.
Thought I could adress this through using ATI control centre but as soon as I plug the HDMI lead in to the laptop the laptop screen goes blank and Fn+F7 won't let me see it so I can't set-up!
VGA output works fine.
Thought or suggestions greatly appreciated!
