Hi again,
SInce nobody help me so i thought i'd help for others who have the same laptop as mine or silimar model.
just follow these step:
Problems:
PCI Driver - not found (Audio + Modem)
Solution:
if you have already installed Audio Drivers, please Remove it !
download this file from:
Look for KB888111 Driver
Install it - this will pickup Audio and Modem
Good luck

Hi,
I have the this exact problem due to a recent install of xp pro. However, I have folllowed your advice and cannot find the KB888111 anywhere. perhaps they have changed the content of the page??
I hope you can help.
By the number 888111, it's looking like the HD Audio driver by Microsoft. I'm right?
Well, that's a need to get sound if you have HD audio. Strange that they aren't included at the driver package by Sony.
