HELP! My copy of Sony OEM Vista is scratched! They won't replace it!

Has anyone else had this problem? I had to restore my system and then reload Vista OEM copy. All my back ups I made are in the Vista format. When I went to restore my factory settings it came up as XP. I tried then to reload my Vista OEM software BUT the disk is scratched. And no one can help me! I can't unzip my documents! Everything is lost! Does any one have any tips or have an unused copy of Sony OEM Vista?

welcome to Club VAIO..

I presume the OEM Vista disc that you are referring to is the Vista Express Upgrade disc that you claimed from Moduslink..

If so from what I remember PC manufactures including Sony did not have any copies of these disc's..

Have you tried burning a copy of the scratched disc.?
