Help with Club VAIO

everytime I turn on the computer and connect to the net I get a msg saying connect to the internet to download club vaio.... is there any way i can make that stop?? I just got my computer yesterday and it is really annoying. please help

Welcome to Club Vaio..

You should be able to stop My Club Vaio.exe from starting if you go to start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks..

Then dis enable the MCV entry..

Alternatively do the posts in this similar thread offer a solution to allow you to complete the update..
