Help

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help me, I have a Vaio Laptop (Pcg-k415B) to replace my old Acer computer (Which sadly died!) the problem I have is that my Vaio is extremely slow, I basically want to restore it, but I dont want to get rid of any of my work off the computer and I have just paid for a renewal of Norton, I am worried by reinstalling that, I will be made to pay again. I have restored it before but it made me reinstall Microsoft Office etc and it took me a week to do it, as it believed I was already registered. I want to get rid of all the junk on my computer but keep the important stuff, how??? I have a cd recorder but I dont know what to save and dont want to use that method if I can avoid it, anyone can help would be grateful
:hugging:

Hi

If you move your important files and programs to your D drive you should be OK. The recovery process only affects the C drive.

Hey,
Thanks for the advice, but I have no Drive D(?) I use to and its gone missing!! That was what I was hoping to do, also when I find my drive d how do I put all the information over and what important stuff do I need to put over apart from my work?

Thank you for your help!!
