Sony does not support XP on the AW series Vaios so there are no drivers and utilities.

It is of course possible to install XP but you are on your own and you will need to find all the drivers individually from other Vaios or device manufacturer's websites and you will lose all the preinstalled software.

I do not think I have seen a downgrade guide for the AW-Series.

So the answer is 'Yes you can' but not unless you really know what you are doing.
