how to disable the mouse in the notebook?

Hello,

I have a FE series Vaio, I use it at home mostly with a external mouse (a trackball with wire if matters). The thing is, since the mouse in the notebook is always "on" sometimes while typing I touch it and it mess up with what i'm doing, so I want to disabled it. My old notebook, a HP, had a simple button on top of it to activate it and disativaded it, but this one doesnt, please tell me there's a way to disabled!

Thank yo for your help

Hi seedkeeper,

There may be an option in the Vaio Control Center..

Goto start > All programs > Vaio Control Center and click Built in Pointing Device, a new window should open, just remove the tick from enable..:smileyhappy:
