How to read an anlaogic magnetoscope

I have a pcv rz304 and i want to read a analogic band. I can switch on a rda in my tunercard.
But i cannot read, nothing on the screen.
Help please.

Following on, what exactly is one of those thingymajiggers? & what does it do? [:">] Just being a nosy sod here, but interested none the less. :smileygrin: I presume it's something to do with videos or the likes?
