I wish to upgrade my sony PCV-V1/G with an extra 512MB Memory. I have looked at the sony manul, but it advises that do not install memory, ask sony vaio to install it. Is there a simple guide on how to install the memory myself
If you go to Crucial.com and download the scanning tool (just click scan my pc) and it will let you know what memory your machine can take. Once you have determined this click on the install Guides and you should get a bit more idea of what to do.
