I had hooked up my laptop to my television via an HDMI cord and knew the sound would come the tv, not a problem here.
My problem is, is that once I unplugged the cord, the sound on my computer stopped working. I tested the speakers, made sure they were enabled, and made sure the volume was up. Everything worked fine. I have a few sounds working, but my itunes, anything on the internet, and videos won't play sounds. So the speakers work, but they're just not playing sounds.
I run off of windows 7. Can someone help please?

Hi everywhereandnowhere,
I assume that after removing the HDMI cable you have reset the default playback device to Speaker/HP?
Right click the speaker icon in the system try and select Playback Devices.
Right click on an empty area of the window and make sure “Show Disabled Devices” has a check mark.
Right click on Speaker/HP and select “Set as Default”. Click OK.
If you have already thried this then maybe a reboot is necessary.
