internet connection issues

I have had my laptop for two weeks and now I cannot connect to the internet a triangle has appeared and will not go away. Ive contacted my service provider and there are no issues from there end and im extremely fed up dont know what to do.

This yellow triangle with an explantion mark will not go away i have a vaio  model SVE151D11M HELP!!!!!!!

Hi, I had the same problem for the past 2 days and the solution I found and worked for me is to go to your antivirus and turn the firewall off it will ask for how long, put NEVER and restart your laptop. When it comes back to normal you can turn the firewall back on. I hope it helps, good luck

If the firewall advice doesn't work and you have McAfee security software, uninstall it completely. The UK McAfee website (http://home.mcafee.com/Default.aspx?culture=EN-GB) has a message on the front page about a problem with internet connections that an update has caused, and instructions on what to do about it (if you want to stick with your McAfee software).  http://mcaf.ee/s3b79
