Hi Guys,
Have a laptop Vaio Laptop PCG-FX405 which while it still works fine, I wonder if some general upgrade would bring it into the 21st century? RAM and HDD look doable but graphics? I am not sure a) if you could do it and b) if it would be worth the bother. It's my daugther's and she's a SIMS nut; never managed to get the game to run and I suspected then (as now) it's the basic graphics that came with the machine that's the root of the problem. Any ideas chaps and chapesses?
cheers

off course you know in notebook you can not change graphics cards.the computers are faster as they have the slowest part.
but if you have a on board graphic card you can upgrade your ram.it can help but not a complete solution and hhd can get fast your notebook but in games you can't understand the changes.
Not possible I'm afraid, good to see you again pinapple chunks
Thanks for the feedback Keelo. You have a good memory. Mine needs an upgrade! Take care.
