Letter ( Aa ) on laptop keyboard is not working on VGN-SZ2XP ?

Does anyone have any suggestions, I have cleaned the key and its free from dust etc. but just stopped working

I have to use both the on-screen keyboard for letter ( a ) on the desktop, and the general keyboard on the base unit.

Hi juliette,

Unfortunately, from what you describe, this is probably a hardware/cabling problem with the keyboard which will need replacing.

Just as a matter of interest which key is not working?

Your best bet is try a Google for a replacement keyboard – eBay have some listed.
