What does it mean?

it meeans that the laptop is getting so hot that the sticker with the license on it is burning off. i have the same prob on my laptop.

I have bought it several days ago. I don't know exactly, but i think that sticker was in such state in the shop already. (I notice this "burning" on the first day after bying day). And the seller assure that the laptop box haven't been opened before me, and I saw label/sticker on the box's edge (label that testify to fact that it haven't been opened before me)

No this looks pretty standard, where the metalic strips are there is a weird hole, don't worry about it, it's not burning.

seems like its a standard thing but it does look like its burnt. i could have sworn that when i saw that for the first time i thought the laptop heat was casuing it...guess not
