hi been really happy with my notebook after i formated it and in stalled xp professional works much faster and with out all the sony junk ..the only thing i need is the MemoryStick icon sony as it looks better than the xp one where can i get it from and how do i replace the xp one with it thanks for your time

From that thread:

To reinstate the MG icon you need to have snymsico.dll in your C:\Widows directory and then run a couple of regedits.    Download the Msicon zip from this location (this link it a bit flaky so I can email the file to you if necessary).    Copy snymsico.dll to C:\Windows and then run ms.reg and ms-mg.reg.
