Motion Eye camera not working in Windows 7

This has happened out of no where. I have a VGN-NS240E. Arcsoft software says camera in use or not connected. Device manager shows an unknown device, reinstalled it/updated drivers and still the same. Reinstalled arcsoft software and still the same. I cannot seem to find any drivers on the sony website other than this webcam software as well. Please help!

The camera uses generic Windows drivers and only shows in Device Manager when it is being used. Check in the automatic startup programs to make sure the camera is not being used by another program.  Look in MSCONFIG and in Scheduled Tasks.

I presume you have installed the Windows 7 versions of the two camera programs from the US Website here: -

Hi. The problem is resolved whenever I uninstall arcsoft and then reinstall it. But it occurs everytime my laptop wakes up from sleep/hibernation. I get an error that a USB device has stopped working and then my camera stops working.
