My battery is shown as being not connected. Can anyone help me

My battery is shown as "not connected". I have disconnected and re-connected it but it still shows as "not connected".

Can anyone help me?

Is this the original Sony battery? How old is it?

Can you tell us which model Vaio you have and if this suddenly happened.

I have same problem with my Sony vaio. My model is vgn-ns30e. I had bought it new from Sony website. I think my laptop has got little water inside accidently. Does anyone has got solution 4 that?
