Hi, My Vaio Desktop RS 322E would freeze maybe once a week now it seems to freeze twice a day, and it does'nt seem to matter what application i am use.
Can anybody help ?

Hi Rich, Yes i have gave it a full system scan. But nothing was detected.

have you done a disk check for errors
There are various Hotfixes and updates for your model on Vaio-Link.
If that has no effect then you may wish to consider a system recovery using your recovery disks. Backup your C drive data first as the drive will be formatted during this process.
Thanks for your help, i will download some Hotfixes and then see how that goes.

I have just tried to download 2 hotfixes but was not possible because i have got SP2 which is newer than the dates of the Hotfixes, I guess i could uninstall SP2 but i don't know if that is Possible. Is it possible to uninstall SP 2 without to much trouble ??

Do you see anything in the error log?
Start > Control Panel > Administration Tools > Event Viewer
Hi Kee-Lo, Great Advice, I never knew about event viewer, 3 Warnings are logged and the sources are : i8042prt and E100B, Followed by Information Tcpip which when opened say's this : The System detected that network adaptor /DEVICE / TCPIP _ ( Followed by my computer numbers ) was disconnected from the network and the adaptors network has been released.
