My internet explorer keeps shutting down...

But there is no problem with my internet connection, does anyone have any ideas?

A week or so ago (after having no problems at all) my IE starting giving me an error saying that it had encountered a problem and needed to shut down. Eventually this get too annoying so I got Mozilla Firefox and that is better but has also now started saying that it has crashed and needs to shut down. I have checked my internet connection and it is stable, do you have any ideas on how I can figure out what is going wrong and fix it?

It happens that sometimes, a software we install causes problems with the internet explorer.

Does it crash on every page or are there specific pages?
Since a week I have problems with facebook and it seems to be a flash problem.

Install here firefox until the problem is fixed on numerous reboots. Also try a system restore to a time before the explorer went wonky.
