My PCG 31111M volume is not loud enough

My PCG 31111M volume is not loud enough on loudspeakers - but fine on headphones.

Anyone else experienced this problem?

Any known solution?

You are quoting an invalid model - I think you have the chassis style which may cover several models.  I guess it is a Z-Series Vaio.

You can try increasing the default speaker level in the bios or find a program that has some form of pre-amp like VLC Media Player but any increase in volume will only be small.
