need to get the infineon tpm working after clean install

Hello everyone,

I received my first Vaio (SZ3) yesterday and I just love it. Thanks to the forum I performed a clean XP Pro install without the apps and everything is fine. But unfortunately, I don't find the infineon software (should be under C:\infineon according to the manual) by now.

Can I get this elsewhere (sony HP?) or do I have to install the apps. If so, can I chosse which apps I want to install? I don't want to get everything on it again.

Hi Bjarne and welcome to Club Vaio,

You can download Protector Suite QL as part of the Preinstalled Utilities for your model.

If that download does not contain all you need you will have to search your Recovery Discs for the software. I don't think it will allow you to install individual Applications.

I assume you made Recovery Discs. Explore Disc 2 and see if you have files in a .PAC format.

If so Google for kcap.exe to unpack any files you need from your Recovery Discs.
