Would that be John Lewis Aberdeen by any chance? If it is i worked on your computer with Alex.

Those new ones look good, but you're going to have to save your pennies DT

Did you manage to fix the problem? Only I'm having the same sort of thing with mine. PCVRZ 504) Can't register the device. When I click on Start/IPrograms/Wireless Lan/Converter Utility Set up it tells me that it can't find the converter and asks me if I want to go to online help. I followed the instructions in the trouble shooting ie, turning off the firewall and disabling the network bridge etc but it stubbornly refuses to read anything.
Have you any idea what that corrupt file was that John Lewis repaired?
Would be interested to hear how you got on.

The error was something like a pnp sony network error. JL reset the system and all seemed well. i can get the media player to play files from the computer when the media receiver is hooked up to the ethernet port on the machine but still cannot get the system to work wireless. the problem you are having was the same as my initial one. Make sure the converter and wireless card are set up for an ad-hoc network rather than a wireless. when set up the converter will have a pink light rather than the red and will not flash. i did not find anything about that in the info pack though!!!

Do you mean UPnP?

Do you mean UPnP?

It's funny you should say that Kee-Lo. I had the UPnP problem when I first got the PC but followed your earlier advice and got the update patch. I no longer have the UPnP problem but do you think that is connected with the problems I'm having setting up my wireless network?
