Network shuts down

I'm thinking it could be a problem with my router, or perhaps a missed setting.
The thin is, my router (I guess) shuts down the network a few times a day and only hops back in when I restart the router.

Is there something I could do?

there could be any number of reasons, here are a few to get you started..

Is it an ADSL or cable router.?

Do you have microfilters on all of your phone sockets.?

Is there any option in your router for disconnecting after a period of time?

Have you checked your Router manufacturer support site, look through your router models the FAQs or Troubleshooting list, also check if there is a firmware update available..

It's a cable modem, that I know for sure.
About that other stuff, I have no idea.
Is there any special setting I should look for and does it matter that it is a wifi?

What make and model is your Router.?

Hi! Sorry about the delay, but i had further problems with my connection (can't get why I pay for this)
