Trying to create a very simple workgroup between 2 XP pro machines however the Vaio doesnt want to play. No matter what we do we cant get it to work and it wont even ping itself!
Try these methods:

My step father paid £35 for the desktop card.
The router was £80.
Hay, yea i know the freeling, i just recently got my laptop working wirelessley... yea, what i found was the speed of the network card and the pc were diffrent, thus not working, however i dont think that this would affect you. but do you have something like norton, because it also stop ALL network interactions.... best wishes:smileyhappy:
Yeah I hate Norton
Is it then possible to install a peer to peer networking even if my Vaio has Norton installed on it or not?
Thank you for any help. I have had the same problem as the one mentioned and would therefore be interested in the solution...
