No sound via internal speakers? VGN-SZ2XP
Hi I have a VGN-SZ2XP notebook and after switching it on one day I can't get the internal speakers to play any sound. I can attach headphones/speakers through the jack and that works fine, what could be wrong?

Could this be due to the material that the speaker cables are made of?

Hi, I do remember this was a long time ago. I tried the same steps as you did with the ribbon cable and logic board, though I didn't have any success.
I couldn't confirm the exact cause of this issue, though in my case I think it was an issue relating to the motherboard.
