I'm just wondering, does the Nvidia recall effect Sony?
I have contacted VAIO but they only said that they have no record of a fault with Nvidia GPU's on VAIO's.
This is not denying it, or confirming it! To top it all off, i now have a VGN-FZ11Z that could cook eggs!
The CPU runs at 72 degrees Celsius idle, and the GPU runs at 82 degrees on startup and 89 degrees after 10 minutes, again this is not running any apps.
I know i have to send it in anyway, but i want to knowif it's anything to do with Nvidia's announcment. I have a load of friends with FZ models also, none of there's have an issue but if the warranty runs out and then it starts overheating........what then?
